The rapid advancement of technology in the 21st century has transformed the way information is accessed, processed, and shared, giving rise to the Information Age. This era has necessitated the development of digital literacy skills among individuals to navigate the complex digital landscape effectively. This paper explores the importance of digital literacy skills in the Information Age, highlighting the need for continuous learning and adaptation to keep up with the evolving digital environment. It discusses various aspects of digital literacy, including critical thinking, information evaluation, and digital communication, and examines their role in enhancing individual and societal capabilities. The paper further underscores the challenges faced by individuals in acquiring these skills, such as the digital divide and the rapid pace of technological change, and proposes strategies to address these issues.
